Call for candidates – Traffic Committee

The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is currently looking for three (3) residents to fill positions on the Traffic Committee.

The Traffic Committee is a working group of four (4) members, including a representative of the Police Department, a representative of the Public Works Department, a representative of the Urban Planning and Engineering Department and a representative of the Municipal Patrol.

The mandate of the Traffic Committee is to study and make recommendations to City Council on questions, requests and complaints about parking, traffic and road safety.

The Traffic Committee meets once a month, on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m., at the Public Works Department, 100 Glenmore. The meetings last from one hour to three hours, depending on the number of files. This mandate is for one (1) year with possible renewal and is without remuneration.

Resident members are chosen for their interest, knowledge of the City, sense of observation, critical sense, open-mindedness and impartiality.

Interested candidates are invited to submit their written application with a letter of interest and their résumé to the attention of Johanne Laperrière, Administrative Technician, Urban Planning and Engineering Department, at 12001, De Salaberry Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Québec, H9B 2A7, or by email at jlaperriere@ddo.qc.ca.

The deadline for submitting an application is May 14, 2018. Only selected candidates will be contacted.
